Hi, I'M AMANDA

I am there to fully support you on your wedding day. Not only am I there to take photos, but I am there to be an extra set of hands, bring you reassurance and guidance, provide safety pins and sewing supplies in a pinch, spread out the train of your dress, and to hand you tissues when needed.

With the exception of family photos, bridal party photos, and portraits (during which I will direct the entire time), I take a relaxed, fly-on-the-wall approach.

My style is candid and documentary, and I will be there to photograph what’s going on around me - I’m there to work around you, not the other way around. However, this doesn’t mean I won’t direct or adjust when necessary - the goal is just for this to be as minimal as possible.

Throughout the day, I hope to connect with your closest loved ones, be someone that can be relied on, and to take images of your day that will bring you right back to that moment.

The communication was super easy, from the initial emails to the shoot and posing cues, all the way to the delivery of the photos. She was always quick to write back and was so friendly and upbeat, and was awesome about providing information about the shoot, what to expect, and taking our comfort into consideration as well. Amanda made us look good and totally captured our silly, constantly laughing energy. She made us feel like we were doing something right when we were feeling like we probably looked like a hot mess. A month later, I haven’t stopped looking at the photos. They are us. You can look at the photos and feel what we were feeling. If you book with Amanda, you’ve booked the best person!
