meet the girl behind the camera

you are in the right place.

your wedding is arguably one of the most important days of your life - so why plan a wedding that you don't absolutely, 100% with your heart and soul want to even participate in?

if you're here, let me guess a few things about you:

you and your partner aren't one of those couples you see on pinterest - you think the images are beautiful, but deep down, you don't want to spend thousands on thousands for a huge wedding where you might not even have the chance to say hi to all your guests. you hate being the centre of attention, and most definitely do not want to have to walk down the aisle with 300 eyes on you. you feel the pressure from your parents and friends to have a traditional wedding complete with a 10-person wedding party, bridal showers and parties up the wazoo, and a big party at the end with a top notch DJ who doesn't even play songs you know. sound familiar?

i feel that way too.

which is why i am here to help you through every step of the process of planning and executing your dream elopement. i believe your wedding day should be all about you, and you shouldn't do a single thing you don't want to just because it's what you think you "should" do.

my values

leave no trace.

every kind of love.

authentic storytelling.

pack in, pack out. let's leave the great outdoors just how we found them! we will follow the 7 principles of leave no trace from start to finish.

all love is worthy of being celebrated, no matter what you look like or where you come from. let's forget about what society says we can and can't do, and do what we want.

i will photograph your story in a way that truly reflects who you are. this means no faking moments and letting go of feeling like you have to look or be perfect to get beautiful images.

photographer, amateur skater, university drop out, undecided dog or cat person, professional iced chai latte drinker, hoodie lover

combine a camera and your average 20-something year old, and you end up with me.

i currently photograph mostly in the vancouver and fraser valley areas, but i am available whenever and wherever you need me.

knowing that these photos are the ones you will look back on in 5, 10, 15 years is the thought that motivates me and excites me to be able to photograph your elopement. these images are one of the only tangible things you will keep for years after the day is done, and will be there to help you remember every detail that you otherwise wouldn't think about. from the weather, your tears, your famliy, the location, your laughs - let's capture it all.

Our photoshoot with Amanda was wonderful. Leading up to the shoot I was excited, yet anxious as posing in front of a camera hasn't always been my forte when it comes to professional photos. Right away, Amanda set the tone with a friendly, warm, approachable manner and I felt comfortable immediately. She used great techniques to get us to laugh and we love how the photos turned out. I would for sure recommend Amanda for your future shoot. She is very friendly, charming and makes you want to hang out with her even after the shoot is done.

Amanda was a dream to work with. We had Amanda shoot our engagement photos and our wedding. She made us feel comfortable, cute and relaxed during our engagement shoot, with lots of prompts and encouragement. During our wedding day, she said yes to everything we threw at her, she was helpful, kind and captured the atmosphere at our wedding. Our guests loved the photos, too!

This was our first ever photo shoot as a couple! I was kinda nervous going in, but still very excited. Amanda was able to make the photo shoot fun and relaxed, she was great at giving us prompts and made the experience super easy. The photos are amazing, I love them! She has a great eye for details and has a way of making everything look candid and natural. Thank you so much Amanda!
