I began my photography journey in 2020, right in the middle of a global pandemic (great time to start a business, right?). The first few weddings I shot were small and intimate - everyone was just stoked to be there with each other to celebrate love.
As restrictions began lifting and the weddings I shot became bigger and bigger, my heart kept leading me back to those first weddings I shot. And so, my craving for weddings where there was true connection and intentional aspects woven into the day, combined with love of nature and beauty, grew.
I know how important your relationships are to you. I know that you don't want a day where you do things just because you feel like you have to. I know that you value genuine experience and connections - and don't want to have some crazy wedding just for show.

I hate small talk, so let’s get to it! And honestly, you probably want to know the person you’re going spend one of the most memorable days of your life with, so let me tell you a lil’ more about me! In 2020, I dropped out of university to pursue photography and haven’t looked back since. I’ve always been obsessed with photography and taking pictures of everything so I can remember the big and small moments; whether it’s a random hangout or a big family party. This and my absolute LOVE of travel led me down led me to elopement photography and I still can’t believe I get to do this as my job!
Outside of that, I’m an old cat lady in a 20-something year olds body. Seriously, one of my favourite things to do is curl up with a good book (send your romance/fantasy recommendations my way) and an iced chai in my hand, in the most comfortable sweats I own - you can ask my family!
Working with Amanda, we understood the whole process from start to finish. The communication was super easy, from the initial emails to the shoot and posing cues, all the way to the delivery of the photos. She was always quick to write back and was so friendly and upbeat, and was awesome about providing information about the shoot, what to expect, and taking our comfort into consideration as well. Before heading into our photoshoot, we had a couple concerns. We were worried our photos would either not look like us, or we would have terribly awkward photos. But, Amanda made us look good and totally captured our silly, constantly laughing energy. She made us feel like we were doing something right when we were feeling like we probably looked like a hot mess. After the shoot, we were on a high, both saying “wow that was actually a good time” which we were totally not expecting. A month later, I haven’t stopped looking at the photos. They are us. You can look at the photos and feel what we were feeling. If you book with Amanda, you’ve booked the best person!!! She is such a comfortable person to be around, absolutely hilarious, always rooting for us and cheering us on. Our session was filled with belly laughs. We are so happy from the beginning communications with you, all through to the AMAZING engagement photos you took. Beyond grateful and best investment.

Amanda was so fun to work with! She was super sweet and easy going. My partner and I have only had our photos taken once before so we were nervous about feeling awkward in front of the camera but Amanda made the overall experience such a good time! She knew how to pose us and was quick to get as many shots as we could. She was very flexible with what we were comfortable with and asked us if we had anything in mind that we wanted to do. We got our photos in less than 2 weeks which was amazing. Our photos turned out better than I could’ve imagined and overall this was truly the best experience I have had getting my photos done and I will be using Amanda again in the future!

My partner and I can be very awkward when it comes to getting our photos done together (never know what to do with our hands, you know what I mean?), but Amanda was so great at getting candid photos and we felt comfortable with her the entire time! She gave us pointers and positioned us nicely. She gave us fun prompts to get the best photos of us that had us smiling and laughing the whole time! IT WAS FUN THE WHOLE TIME! I as laughing the whole time and I truly felt so connected to my partner because of her prompts!! She was also very easy to work with! After our shoot (like anyone), we were excited for our photos and she got us our photos back SO quick! We also received all our photos shortly after! They looked amazing. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I am beyond happy with the photos!
