Lakeside Wedding at Alberta Beach

This lakeside wedding at Alberta Beach perfectly showcases a family-oriented celebration. Some couples prioritize significant family involvement in their wedding, and hosting the event at their lakeside family cabin made it easy for family to stay and participate.

Will and Kelly started their day getting ready with their closest family and friends. Family members played key roles throughout the entire day. From Kelly’s sister doing her bridal makeup to her siblings cooking up breakfast, there were many roles to go around.

We then snuck away for a first look and some portraits at a family friend’s cabin. Kelly spent much of her childhood at this cabin, so the photos are very nostalgic. They also took photos with a sleek red car adorned with a “just married” sign.

After a first look with her sister, it was time for the ceremony. The bride and groom stood at the end of their dock to say their I do’s. With a champagne toast to celebrate, the reception was kicked off.

The reception was an occasion full of many laughs, tears, touching speeches, games, and a comedian. This wedding was one where I was able to stay after coverage and party with the couple and their guests. It was amazing to witness the love this couple has for their family and seeing their generosity at this lakeside wedding at Alberta Beach.
