Kildara Farms Wedding in Victoria, BC

This Kildara Farms Wedding is the oceanside wedding of your dreams. Almost fully DIY, this couple fulfilled their Pinterest board dreams with this one and still had one of the most gorgeous weddings of the season.

We started the day with some getting-ready shots at their beachfront Airbnb. The vibes were cool, calm, and collected, with some chill music playing in the background. Bridesmaids got themselves ready while the bride had her makeup done, and I photographed the gorgeous boho-style dress.

Meanwhile, my second shooter captured the groom and groomsmen getting ready. They indulged in some drinks and took way too many “pooh bear” style photos (aka them all in just boxers). And of course, the couple’s dog Kobe featured in many of these images.

The girls hopped in a limo and made their way to the Kildara Farms wedding venue, where they put on their dresses in the loft. Before that, the bride handed out gifts to each of them and wrote her vows in the vow book.

Soon, the ceremony time arrived. The groomsmen led the way, with Kobe as the ring bearer. Laughter and tears filled the ceremony as the couple expressed their love to each other. They signed the papers, shared a kiss, and danced their way back down the aisle.

A champagne toast and greeting line followed, and then we snuck away to the beach for couples portraits. We returned to the venue to join the cocktail hour and lawn games. Dinner followed promptly, accompanied by some of the most touching speeches I’ve ever heard at a wedding.

The day wrapped up with the couple shooting some hoops and sharing a romantic first dance under the twinkling fairy lights. This Kildara Farms wedding is certainly one for the books!
