Estate 248 in Langley, British Columbia, provides a breathtaking setting for a dream wedding, combining rustic charm with modern elegance. Nestled amidst lush greenery and scenic landscapes, this venue offers a perfect backdrop for a romantic and unforgettable celebration.
Upon arrival, guests are greeted by the estate’s beautiful, sprawling grounds. The venue features meticulously manicured gardens, towering trees, and picturesque pathways, creating a serene and intimate atmosphere. The main event space, a charming barn with rustic wooden beams and twinkling fairy lights, exudes warmth and sophistication, making it an ideal spot for both the ceremony and reception.
Firstly, the day began in the bridal suite with Emma and her bridesmaids. The bridal suite, adorned with vintage furnishings and large mirrors, provided a tranquil space for the bride and her party to prepare for the big day. Emma chose to have first looks with her grandparents and dad just before the ceremony.
The ceremony took place in the main event space. The aisle lined with mismatched rugs and the lights strung with fairy lights, creating a romantic and magical space. Following the ceremony, we went right into family portraits and bridal party photos. With a quick dress change and gift exchange, we got into couples portraits around the property.
Following the ceremony, guests were treated to a cocktail hour on the lawn, where they enjoyed a few appetizers and lawn games. With the entrance of bridal party and the newly weds, the guests sat together at their tables under large tents outside. The couple chose to have their favourite thing for dinner – breakfast. Complete with waffles and eggs benedict, this was the most delicious (and unique) wedding meal.
Then the evening continued with heartfelt speeches, a twist on the classic shoe game, and a donut tower. The couples first dance led into a dance party to Taylor Swift’s “Love Story.” This was followed by a surprise of a live band to play the bride’s favourite country songs.
The night was complete with a dance party, more lawn games, and a giant sparkler exit that signified the end of the beautiful day.
In conclusion, a wedding at Estate 248 in Langley promises an unforgettable experience, filled with beauty, romance, and cherished memories. This venue’s unique charm and elegance make it an ideal choice for couples seeking a magical setting for their special day.
